Combo vs Combo Challenge #1 by Roeland Smith
Combo vs Combo Challenge #1 by Roeland Smith
I have decided l to do a small series of Combo VS Combo. This of flavours that I know works at certain venues. My first insert in this series is Fun Fishing in Alberton at the Oval, on 12 September 2022.
I arrived just before sunrise and got set up on my favorite spot at the venue. I was blessed with very nice/mild weather. Fishing this venue quite often I know that chocolate is a favorite flavour at #FunFishing, especially the Swiss range of #MagicBaits. I decided to put the all-might Swiss up against #MagicBaits Tigers Eye Gem range (Dark Choc).
The day's fishing started out slowly with the Tiger's Eye breaking the ice with the first fish. A great day of fishing followed with the results being as follow:
Results:
10 runs had with 8 fish landed.
Combo 1:
MaGic Baits - MaGic Baits - The Magic lingers on ....... Popcorn Feed as bol
2 x Small #MagicBaits Swiss Bleeding Floaties on each hook
Swiss bol Dip on the bol
6 runs with 4 fish landed, 2 fish broke off around the concrete structures in water.
Carp x 2.055kg
Carp x 1.350kg
Carp x 2.205kg
Carp x 2.665kg
Total Weight: 8.275kg
Combo 2:
Magic Baits Popcorn Feed as bol
2 x #MagicBaits Tiger's Eye Floating Gems on each hook
Tiger's Eye Liquid Gems on the bol
4 runs with 4 fish landed
Carp x 1.510kg
Carp x 3.205kg
Carp x 2.340kg
Carp x 1.705
Total Weight: 8.760kg
Total bag weight for the day: 17.035kg
Notes: Although the Swiss combo had more runs, both combo's landed 4 fish each. With the Tiger's Eye combo getting the bigger bag total as well as catching the biggest fish. Because of the last mentioned reasons I have to give the first Combo VS Combo Challenge to the Tiger's Eye Combo.
